Scriptures in the Gardens

In the future, this section will feature the actual scripture verses, which will be visually presented in each Sculpture Prayer Garden. Visitors will view these scriptures in different three ways:

1. “Path to Heaven” Scriptures – These scriptures will present the Gospel using large 16” square floor tiles, in a pathway that begins at the entrance of the cross-shaped, evangelical Garden. Every 12’, the visitor will be presented with another scripture in his or her own language, logically presenting the Gospel message using both Old and New Testament Bible verses. This scripture path will lead around the entire Garden to the exit, where a final inscription will give the “pilgrim” the opportunity to pray and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

2. “Sculpture Scriptures” - Each sculpture displayed in the Garden will feature appropriate Bible verses explaining the art composition itself. These verses will reinforce the Gospel message presented along the “Path to Heaven” presentation. The scriptures will be inscribed into the masonry bases and on the ground around the monumental sculptures.

3. “Dedications & Monuments” - At different locations in the Garden, various scriptures will be used to communicate other Biblical truths, which are not part of the Gospel message. These will include the “Ten Commandments” and other appropriate verses.

Scripture tiles, in various sizes will be available as inspiring souvenirs at the Gallery & Gift Shop inside the Visitors Center. Proceeds from the sales of scripture tiles and small versions of the Greiner sculptures will help provide continual funding for the Gardens.
