Kerrville Garden Construction:

Kerrville Garden Construction

The construction of the Kerrville Garden is proceeding on schedule, with completion still expected in 2007.  Max Greiner, Jr., the Artist and Architect of this ambitious evangelistic project recently said:

“If God had asked me to design the perfect site for our first Garden, I could not have sculpted a more ideal piece of land.  The location of the Garden is in the center of the USA, right on Interstate 10, halfway between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.  It is “high and lifted up”, visible for miles!

The spot for the 70 x 100 yard, cross-shaped Garden, at the top of the hill, provides breathtaking views from the top, in three directions.  Three of the four points of the cross will extend out to the edge of the mountain, east, west and south, thus creating dramatic observation lookouts.  The fourth point of the cross will be located to the north, on the stable, rock strata of the mountain, providing the solid foundation required to hold a giant steel cross!

In addition, all the parking lots will be hidden, just below the “ line of sight” from the Garden, yet still very close.  God also provided ideal road building soil, right on the property, below the solid rock mountaintop.  By digging out the soft sides of the hill to make the necessary roads and parking lots, ideal road base material was discovered!  Apparently, God designed this mountain specifically for this Garden, when He created the earth!”

As originally prophesied by Pastor/Evangelist, Mahesh Chavda on December 9, 2001, when God first called Max Greiner, Jr. to rebuild the “last days” Tabernacle, God has provided Max with other Christian artisans and helpers to assist him.

The companies now sowing their skills, talents and money to the Garden included many servants of the Lord.  Heavy equipment contractor, Basil McKay, of McKay’s Construction has been working almost everyday, since early January, to prepare the site for construction of the roads, parking lots, building pad-sites, and the Garden itself.

Lee Voelkel, of Voelkel Engineering is currently preparing the actual survey work and engineering drawings needed to build the Garden, as God has revealed it to Max.  In addition to the assistance of many volunteers, Tony Hall is hand clearing the underbrush, in areas that cannot be reached with a bulldozer.

The landscape construction is now beginning, with the help of Kelly Wren, of Rock Scapes, Danny Massey of Alltex Nursery Landscapes, and plant expert, John Lenard of JL Landscape.  Brian Fisher, owner of Guadalupe Signs, is preparing preliminary signs for the Garden.  As the construction of the first Garden continues, God will draw more creative people into the project.

Eventually, when the Kerrville Garden is finished, over 1,000 visitors are expected a day.  Individuals, groups, tourists, truck drivers, church groups, artists, art enthusiasts, students and people sovereignly drawn in by the Holy Spirit will visit the Garden.

These “pilgrims” will come in cars, trucks, RVs, buses, motorcycles, bicycles and even aircraft.  Therefore, a lot of attention is being given to traffic flow and parking, around the Garden property.   Special walking and bicycle lanes are also being planned for enthusiasts.

It is believed by the Board of Trustees of The Coming King Foundation, that this first Garden will quickly become a national tourist attraction, and the model for other Gardens around the world.  We are “trusting” God, that He will supply the additional donations required, to finish the first Garden.

Any donations to this unique construction effort are sincerely appreciated.  All donations are tax-deductible in the USA.  Thank you for your prayerful support and donations to this unique evangelistic outreach. By sowing into God’s Garden, you will be joining the Body of Christ in doing something great for God!
